Killer business
You're either on the side of the smoking ban or you aren't. I've never understood why people that hate smoke would go to a place that is smoky - why not just go somewhere else?
I'm not sure what the smoking nazi's had in mind when they started putting this plan into affect but I hope that it wasn't to ruin the businesses of millions of people around the globe.
No one ever thinks about the trickle down of all of this.
No cigareete/cigar sells - no money from taxes (100's of millions of dollars per year will have to be made up from other places .... gas/home/etc...)
No cigarette/cigars in rest/pubs/casino's/bingo halls - people are laid off, businesses close their doors, local, state & federal economy being lost from no sales of alcohol, gaming, etc..
For anyone out there that thinks that this isn't taking a significant toll on the country, and the world, in a negative way then you are greatly mistaken.
In America we have "freedom" of choice yet it is continually being sliced away from us. I'm not a cigarette smoker - can't stand it - and if I don't want to be around it I won't go into an environment that has it. Why is this so difficult?
Anyway - read through this extremely interesting website.
